Firefighter Recruitment Program
We've set out to help Volunteer Fire Departments recruit members through our national radio and television Public Service Announcements, direct mail outreach program, and by providing customized marketing materials to individual departments.
Fire Prevention Program
We have set out to provide free fire prevention materials and education materials to schools, fire departments, senior centers, and any other at-risk groups (hearing impaired, disabled, etc…)
Crisis Support Helpline
We have set up a National Helpline that provides access to confidential support, resources and referrals any time day or night
by phone for first responders and their families.
National Firefighter Appreciation Campaign
Here at Volunteer Firefighter Alliance we’re waging a National Appreciation Campaign to not only thank our volunteers but to raise awareness about the invaluable services they provide all of us. We have asked our supporters to send in Thank You Cards from all over the country. We then put them in bundles of 50 or more and send them to a Fire Department in their respective State.

- We have reached over 47,911,770 people nationally with our radio PSA's(per Nielsen Media reports)
- We have mailed out recruitment information to over 8,964,664 people across the country
- Distributed our television PSA's to 423 cable outlets nationally
- Distributed our radio PSA's to over 700 radio stations nationally
- 949 volunteers have contacted us wanting to become involved with their local Fire Department
Fire Prevention Program
We have set out to provide free fire prevention materials and education materials to schools, fire departments, senior centers, and any other at-risk groups (hearing impaired, disabled, etc…)
- Currently we have shipped over 2,030,359 pieces of fire prevention materials to 5,346 fire departments & schools across the country with materials reaching all 50 States
- Reached over 2,278,947 through our website which provides downloadable prevention materials
- Distributed materials regionally at over 85 safety events that we have set up at Walmarts, Lowe's, Bass Pro Shop, Minor League Baseball stadiums, and State Fire Conferences

National Firefighter Appreciation Campaign

The Volunteer Firefighter Alliance was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam at the State Capitol on July 26th in recognition of their outstanding service.
